St. John the Baptist Steeple

Working with Hightower Construction and Glenn Keyes Architects, the crew of HBW used 3-d design and cold mold technology to build a new steeple for the Catholic Cathedral of downtown Charleston.  The initial design goals for the project were to make the steeple addition strong and light; in order to withstand hurricane conditions.  Our boatbuilding construction methods were used to achieve this goal.  See the gallery for more info.

  HBW 18'

Coming soon, the Hightower 18' will be offered as a build yourself kit boat.  We are eager to build a prototype.  Stay tuned for further information.
